Frustration is brewing in my thoughts and emotions today. Have you ever expressed concern and suggested a possible solution only to have it be met with a list of the many reasons why this could never happen. I am a firm believer that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
I often find myself advocating for improvements to prevent possibility disasters, and am usually met with negativity. So…. does this make my thoughts of needing to prevent disaster negative or their thoughts for resisting change negative?
My past has taught me that bad things can happen when you least expect it. You can be living your life, not taking risks, not in a threatening manner and happily enjoying your existence only to wake up one day to find your world is completely upside down.
There is no promise that living a peaceful existence, following your heart and attempting to make a positive influence, and improvements as you live out your days will come easily.
Patience, persistence and entrusting your life to Divine Care and Guidance will give you the wisdom strength and patience you need to endure.

I am currently experiencing this issue of negative resistance within my church community. It seems as though trying to create radical change can be frustrating, but so can trying to change things too gradually. I’m trying to find that balance by approaching problems from different angles or taking a break and starting fresh.
